TARRED CANVASS CIVIL WAR KNAPSACK THERE ARE SOME TATTERED PLACES BUT IT IS IN PRETTY NICE SHAPE HAS 2 BRASS J HOOKS TRIANGLE HOOK AND OTHER BSS HOOKS MOST ALL OF THE IRON ROLLER BUCKLES THE SHOULDER STRAPS AND THE SLOTS FOR THE BLANKET ROLL STRAPS THE SHOULDER STRAPS ARE MARKED IN 3 PLACES E ROBINSON N YORK ROBINSON HAD A CONTRACT IN 1862 FOR 50, 000 KNAPSACKS AND AN 1864 CONTRACT FOR 250,000 MORE HE WAS LOCATED FROM 1862 TO 1864 IN NEW YORK CITY THE STRAP IS ALSO MARKED BY THE INSPECTOR WITH N. YORK AND IN ANOTHER PLACE IT HAS CONTRACT 1864 WITH DATE
